Hillary co-chairs Obermayer’s Family Law Group. She focuses her practice exclusively in the area of family law, where she handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony/spousal support, equitable distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, mediation, arbitration, and related issues.
As a proven and trusted divorce attorney, Hillary is direct with her clients and gives straight-forward advice. In her experience, sugar-coating hard conversations only serves to confuse and disappoint clients down the road. However, she also understands that most of her clients are in the midst of a very confusing and difficult time, so she is empathetic to their situation and makes a point to understand their emotional needs. Hillary enjoys seeing her clients get to the other side of a dispute and become happier, stronger people.
