Robb Bunde and Carolyn Zack, who helped draft the Pennsylvania Uniform Family Law Arbitration Act, will provide an overview of the Act, which went into effect on July 7, 2024. They will discuss the key aspects of the new law, including what issues can and cannot be arbitrated, what law is applied, arbitrator duties and qualifications, requirements for custody and child support matters, confidentiality protections, and child abuse and domestic violence considerations. They will also discuss the process of arbitration and how it differs from litigation, mediation, and collaborative law. Moderated by Julie Auerbach.
